Counseling and Therapy approach

I have training focused on families, also effective working with individuals, and post-degree relational psychoanalytic training. With experience helping combat Veterans, hospice patients, and supporting people suffering from symptoms of post-traumatic stress, I spent about nine years in community mental health. I think this helped me develop a patient, thorough approach. I sometimes draw from ideas on how social ties, earlier-life experiences, losses, or certain subcultures you might be a part of affect you. Much of what I do keys on helping you learn more about yourself, and maybe adopt a new type of acceptance of yourself and some of your circumstances, in order to move forward.
